    Adds a Farsi line under the English. It's read aloud when you tap it, if this device has a Farsi voice.

    No sound?

    Turn the volume up. On iPhone, also turn off Silent mode (the switch on the side of the phone), because it mutes the reading voice.

    Get a better French voice

    iPhone or iPad: open Settings, then Accessibility › Spoken Content › Voices › French. Tap a voice such as Amélie (Canada) and download the Enhanced version.

    Android: open Settings and search for "Text-to-speech". Open Speech Services by Google › Install voice data › French.

    Then come back here and choose it under French voice.

    Tips for good photos

    Lay the book flat in good light. Hold the phone straight above the page so the words fill most of the screen. One page per photo works best.

    If a word comes out wrong, open the page and tap Fix the words.

    Lisou is the owl. Photos are read right here on this device. Only the words found are sent to a free translator (MyMemory) to get the English.
